You don't.
openresolv libc runs scripts in $LIBEXECDIR/libc.d
On Gentoo, this directory is /lib/resolvconf/libc.d
The actuall directory for your system should be mentioned in resolvconf(8).

You could try copying it to the mentioned directory, or sym-linking it.
