However easy to use tool are out there, wrappers will always make them simpler to use for users. As tools tend to be generic, while most users needs specific configuration. Looking at what I know from *BSD networking and other Linux distributions, I always found Gentoo's baselayout to be much more powerful. I am truly sad that this is going to be demoted. Attached is my basic networking configuration. Can you please try to explain me how can I set up similar configuration with the new model? How can I start/stop the bridge and tap interfaces? How do you do the same for wlan interface? I could not find an answer in the sources. Alon
