FWIW, I'm running current git master (86166e567) now, the issue reported
by Paul is fixed for me. Also Arch Linux + wpa_supplicant hook here.
I'll stay on git master for a while and will report back if anything
else breaks. :)

(I don't do much other than starting dhcpcd via systemd, though. No
"network manager" involved.)
