Works fine here on NetBSD.
What OS / libc are you using?

Does --vendorclassid="foo" work?

Subject: Using "-i" throws error about interface

hi.
Using dhcpcd 9.0.2, if one tries to use (as previously) a custom vendor class id string on the command line with "-i" like, for example

    dhcpcd -i "MyVendorString" myiface

one gets in return

MyVendorString: interface not found

The help of the dhcpcd binary still specifies -i as an option to use a custom vendorclassid, and so the man page, if it is not obsolete.

Cheers
