The 3 above tests were performed using Ubuntu Linux 20.04 amd64 hosted on
Vultr, using curl.

I just tested again now on FreeBSD using both fetch and then wget, and
still have the same problem. File size from fetch was 32334 bytes, filesize
from wget on that same machines seconds later was 32329 bytes.

Something is definitely wrong - not sure why it would be affected by
different geographical locations if no CDN is involved.
