it is there and works:

# ll /var/lib/dhcpcd/dev/log

/run/systemd/journal/dev-log
# ll /run/systemd/journal/dev-log
srw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0 Apr  8 11:36 /run/systemd/journal/dev-log

% echo test | nc -uU /var/lib/dhcpcd/dev/log

syslog:
Apr 08 17:48:40 hostname nc[18146]: test
