I have a quite intensive pps on this link (multiple GRE with bfd inside
it, plus BGP fullviews), so I don’t think that the ping will change
something.

I thought about an hook because if the default route changes, it will
certainly trigger something inside dhcpcd, so re-running the command
will re-fix the correct MAC into my NDP “cache”.
