for a few years I use dhcpcd client in my company's projects. But now I faced with a problem due to changes in our network infrastructure.
Now DHCP server send response with extra IP options. dhcpcd silently drop such responses but I think it shouldn't.
What do you think about such a situation?
Looking at the attached packet, there are no extra IP options as such -
it's really quite basic, just Message Type, Server ID, Lease Time and
Subnet mask.
All of these dhcpcd accepts and my local version accepted the packet
just fine.
What dhcpcd version are you using?
