I am running dhcpcd-7.0.0. When the events below occur, my default gateway is being removed. There is nothing in the log saying the default gateway is being removed. Could dhcpcd be removing the default gateway and not logging it?
I strongly advise upgrading dhcpcd-7.0.0 to something with less bugs and
currently no known security issues.
dhcpcd always logs route changes it makes.
However, I do see the ip address being removed.
When an ip address is deleted, all associated routes with it are changed
to another ip address - if none available then these routes are deleted.
This is a kernel behaviour and not dhcpcd and this is likely what you
are seeing.

Thank you.
