Yes, although I'm old enough to remember before IPv4 got CIDR so I don't
think of CIDR as inherent to IPv4.

Anyway, thank you for your and Roy's assistance on clarifying this.  I
think everything is working correctly now and I'll be able to explain
all this next time somebody gets confused :-)
