6:53 AM is too early for me, but now it's 2:44 PM and I have news.

dhcpcd-7.0.0-rc1 is successfully installed on my raspberry pi and FIXES 
the SEGV that I saw on the last two versions of this "distribution" 
whenever I converted the root directory to an f2fs type.

Installing was just wget to download, tar, ./configure, make, and make 
install. Absolutely NO problems of any kind.

I didn't want you to waste time shooting a bug that you'd already fixed, 
so this has worked out.
