Hi Roy,

Thanks for your help here. I will still try your patch and report back if this solves the problem. The reason I haven't gotten back to you yet is that I don't have a way to instantly reproduce this issue, so I am just monitoring crashes/collecting coredumps in the background which isn't very rigorous.
