  *  Is there a need to configure >1 static IPv6 address?

For my purposes, one static IPv6 address is sufficient.

  *  Should a static IPv6 address disable IPv6RS and DHCPv6?

For my purposes, a static IPv6 address is an additional address to
the ones created using prefixes provided by IPv6RA and others
provided by DHCPv6.  I would not disable these other sources.

  *  Should it have it's own reason for dhcpcd-run-hooks(8)?

I don't have anything to say on this one right now.
