This is exactly the problem here. I have no plant to threw away the gtk apps
I'm using, so I'm sticking with gtk+xembed.
Now, I'm using EFL[-1.10]/E[18] and E20 dropped support for xembed, so
those who plan on using E20 won't be able to have dhcpcd-ui status icons!
I'm not planning to upgrade to E19+ because of SystemD requirement.
(There is no fucking way I am using that thing.) Although,
ELM(elementary)+EWE(ELM widgets) seem to be promising as a standard
toolkit along the line of the other ones.
I will wait for now...
And some [Unix] folks seems to be saying "will switch to *BSD" when
SystemD becomes a hard requirement. WTF, I saw the other day...
E20 (or was it E19?) was pulled in FreeBSD ports (testing for now.)
Good luck (with SystemD)! (No plan for switching for now...)
