Dear Roy,
I use Archlinux (Linux localhost 3.12.9-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 31
10:22:54 CET 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux) and using standard upgrade dhcpcd
6.1.0 was replaced by 6.2.1. After reboot my wireless connection no
longer worked "deauthenticating by local choice (reason=3)". Also
disabling IPv6 did not help.
[ 55.265942] wlan0: authenticated
[ 55.266063] ath9k 0000:04:00.0 wlan0: disabling HT/VHT due to
WEP/TKIP use
[ 55.269508] wlan0: associate with a2:05:44:ff:33:a4 (try 1/3)
[ 55.274624] wlan0: RX AssocResp from a2:05:44:ff:33:a4 (capab=0x431
status=0 aid=1)
[ 55.274991] wlan0: associated
[ 92.177397] wlan0: deauthenticating from a2:05:44:ff:33:a4 by local
choice (reason=3)
After downgrade back to 6.1.0 it worked again.
In the Archlinux forum some other users confirmed the behaviour, also
for wired connection: See:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=177017
Could you please look into the issue? Is there more information you
would need?
Thank you in advance.
Lutz
