Roy,
I just discovered that the 6rd option is embedded in the "Parameter
Request List". I was looking for it as a top-level option. So things
are fine. Now I'll have to get the dhcpcd-hooks scripts to use
"new_sixrd". I did see one user posted a version for 6rd.
Thanks again,
Todd

Roy,
I'm trying to configure dhcpcd version 6.0.2 to request option 212 so
I can setup a 6rd tunnel. I've added "sixrd" to the list of options
in the /etc/dhcpcd.conf file. I initiated a tcpdump capture on eth0,
then ran dhcpcd against the same interface. The capture includes the
DHCP Request packet, but no 6rd option appears in the Wireshark
listing. I do see that "sixrd" is being parsed and treated as a
matching option in the make_option_mask() function in dhcp-common.c.
Wireshark does support decoding this option, so it seems the option
is not present in the request. Is there additional configuration
required to have the 6rd option included in the DHCP Request message?
Thanks in advance,
Todd
