Hi Roy, It turns out that after rebuilding and reinstalling, dhcpcd
5.2.12 is working just fine for me. The interfaces that are not

exactly what I want.

Good :)

Lastly, you seem to be running a dhcpcd process per interface.
With dhcpcd-5, one process can configure all interfaces which generally
works better if multiple interfaces share the same subnet.

I do have a question regarding this comment though. It would be nice
to have just one hcpcd process manage all interfaces, but I need to
have the flexibility of configuring each interface independently with
either a static ip address, or dynamic address assigned either through
dhcp or autoip. Is it possible to do this?

You can achieve a config per interface in dhcpcd.conf(5)

Thanks
