Yeah, you and me both.  I later decided that it would disadvantage other
users, so I offered watered-down workarounds

Thanks for supplying me with the patch so promptly.  I've just tested it via
both Ethernet and wireless.  In both cases, I can confirm that the problem
is fixed.
