Well, that is beyond the scope of this mailing list.
I suggest you take it up with your distro or the Linux kernel devs.
There have been quite a few changes in the linux wifi code recently, however dhcpcd seems to handle most of it without problems. I
have 5.1.5 working fine over wifi here.
One posibility for that deauthentication is that newer Linux and Windows systems want to turn on all of the power save features.
Some older AP's don't like that, you get delayed responses to the AP and ultimately get kicked off the AP very frequently. I see
this because my AP is based on an ath5k card where the driver doesn't support the fancy power management stuff.
Try turning off the power saving stuff and see if it helps.
