dhcpcd-discuss

I just built dhcpcd-ui, along with the latest dhcpcd and dbus packages
from this site.  When I try to start dhcpcd-gtk I get:

** Message: Connecting ...

** (dhcpcd-gtk:15527): CRITICAL **: libdhcpcd: Failed to connect to
socket /usr/local/var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: Connection refused


/usr/local/var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket exists and is a socket.  It
happens even if I run as root, so it's not a permissions problem.  I
restarted the dbus daemon after I rebuilt.

Any ideas?
