folder for user-modded config-files?

hi,
i was just looking through the man-page and couldn't find a reference...
Does dhcpcd (which works great on my notebook btw), support/source
some /usr/local/* directory or do i have to put my files/hooks
into /lib/dhcpcd/dhcpcd-hooks/ (like the one to start vpnc automatically)?
